Grundy Electric 2023 Youth Tour

​Grundy Electric sponsors four high school juniors from area schools within its service territory to attend leadership conferences. The top two finalists are awarded the Washington D.C. Youth Tour. The Rural Electric Youth Tour is an annual week-long event in June when approximately 1,500 high school juniors from all over the country convene in our nation's capital to learn more about government, cooperatives, and rural electrification. More than 100 students from Missouri will convene in Washington D.C. to enhance leadership skills and visit leaders in Congress.
NCMC Dual Credit Scholarship
Congratulations, Chloe Billups! Chloe was awarded the The Jack N. Young, Mildred M. Young, Noble J. Young, and Myra A. Young Dual Credit Scholarship. Applicants had to write a 300-word essay describing how NCMC’s dual credit courses will help assist them with their future plans and how the scholarship will benefit them financially.

Missouri Leadership Seminar
Arianna as been selected to attend the Missouri Leadership Seminar at University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, Missouri, June 2-4, 2023. This opportunity is open to students that are leaders in their schools and have excelled academically, in athletics, extra-curricular activities, or community service.

Missouri Promise "MyMO" Scholarship

Abby has been fully accepted into the Missouri Promise "MyMO" Scholarship program and completed all the 9th grade benchmarks. The yearly benchmarks benefit students by better preparing them to go to college. Abby can earn $2,500 each year by meeting college-going benchmarks, totaling $10,000 by senior year
